CC Bar Ranch, Ochiltree and Roberts Counties. 1890’s, obtained by John A. Mead from Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson of Tulsa, OK, grand-daughter of Mrs. I.N. White (1837-1928) of Pampa. Mrs. White’s sons-in-law Dave Pope and John A. Mead (d1953) wanted as cowboys for the huge ranch.
